Margaret Finley-Vatcher Memorial Award

This is awarded annulally to a division member, nominated by his/her peers, whom has made a significant contribution to the management and treatment of children.

Criteria for Nomination

A paediatric physiotherapist who is:

• A member in good standing of the CPA and Paediatric Division

• Respected by his/her peers

• Recognized as a knowledge expert

• Facilitates communication clinically

• Promotes an innovation approach

Nomination Procedure

Nominations may be made by a member of the Association. All nominations are confidential between the nominator(s) and the Paediatric Division Executive Committee.

The nomination must include:

• At least two letters of recommendation, at least one from a physiotherapist

• The letter must outline the uniqueness of the individual and how she/he meets the criteria of the award.

• Curriculum vitae of the candidate

Nomination Process

Nominations must be submitted to the CPA Paediatric Division Chair post-marked no later than April 1 of each year. The recipient will be announced and presented with their award at the Paediatric Division Annual General Meeting.
